Experienced Butcher Required

We are currently looking for a full time qualified butcher to join our team. Our shop is situated in the pretty village of Sutton-On-Trent it is a well established family business supplying a range of quality local produce; including meat that is reared on our farm and were traditional butchery methods are employed. A competitive salary and additional overtime will be offered to the right person.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ideally Responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the butchery, including breaking down whole carcasses, cutting and jointing and displaying and selling meat and adding value to the lines. Our main production consists of home made sausages, haslets, meat pies and hand raised pork pies.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join our butchery team. Applicants should be experienced in all aspects of butchery, work well as part of a team, have excellent customer service skills and be committed to maintaining the highest standards. Food Hygiene certificates are required.
