OUR PORK AND LAMB

We supply and deliver traditional free-range, pork and lamb direct to speciality butchers and sell at local markets and shows and events. Our livestock is naturally fed and reared on the farm, using traditional, non-intensive farming methods. Our animals mature slowly allowing the meat to achieve the highest level of taste and succulence.

Oak Tree Farm is a traditional grassland livestock farm. And is home to the Trentside herd of British Pedigree Saddleback pigs. situated in North Nottinghamshire in the heart of “Robin Hood Country”.

 We are fully committed to using free-range methods of farming, with no use of artificial fertilisers and other products.

How did we start selling our home reared free range meat to the public?

After eating our own meat happily for years, we decided to share our delicious wares, and started selling the odd half lamb or pig to friends and family. We were thrilled with the enthusiasm and positive response we received so, fired by a constant stream of requests for more meat, we decided to open our venture to you, via specialist butchery shops.

PORK

Our free-range British Saddleback pigs produce succulent roasting joints with superb crackling, excellent dry cured bacon, good sized hams and fantastic sausages the pork has real flavour and taste.

LAMB

Our Ryeland lambs graze on green pastures through the summer this natual feeding and slow maturing produces high quality meat that is both succulent and great tasting just how traditional lamb should be.
